The artist was born in Romania in 1956 and studied at the Art School in Deva and graduated in medicine from the University of Medicine in Cluj-Romania.

She has specialized in Imaging and diagnostic and interventional radiology.

She works in “Soroka University Medical Center” Beer Sheva and teaches in “Ben Gurion University”.

Her main artistic topics are the human body and portraits, but also landscape and abstract.

She use several techniques: oil, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, ink.

Lia has displayed her works in several group and individual exhibitions in Israel (Beer Sheva, Omer, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem), France and Romania.
