Dalia Ayalon Sinclair

Dalia Ayalon Sinclair OAM

Born in Israel to Holocaust Survivors the ”leaves” in her art express her personal wondering which resonate with the tragic historical accounts of the Jewish people throughout history. In her multi media major solo exhibitions in Israel and Australia the leaves are detached, carried by wind as people do. ”Occasionally leaves are signs of Life” she wrote ”Leaves are borne, vanish and return as people do…fertilisers of life”.
As an artist she often gives prominence to overlooked objects which have certainly contributed to have been recognised as a versatile artist whether as a painter, photographer, digital artist or installation.
Dalia’s work in this exhibition reflect the circle of life whether hers or others.
”Headlines” painting is dedicated to her mother’s journey from the Ghetto in Sighet, Romania, to Auschwitz, Death March to Buna, Bergen Belzen, and on route to Israel.
